Open Mondays: Philanthropic Brand Advancing Diversity in Golf

Open Mondays, the first and only philanthropic golf brand will be participating at this year's PGA Merchandise Show.  Open Mondays sells premium golf apparel and donates all profits to charity.  According to their Founder & CEO, Chris Palmer their "mission is to advance diversity in golf by giving those who have been most impacted by golf’s exclusionary past an opportunity to shape the future of the sport."

Open Mondays' not-for-profit model is one of a kind.  Selling their products wholesale and donating all profits back to charity, they give both private and public golf clubs an easy way to champion diversity.  Aligning themselves with The First Tee, Youth on Course, the APGA Tour and United Golfers Associations, Open Mondays hopes to be a catalyst for change.

The trail-blazing brand believes they won't be the first to follow a philanthropic business model.  They say survey data suggests more consumers, especially Millennial and Gen Z consumers, are electing to buy from more socially conscious brands, especially ones that advocate for issues they care about.

Open Mondays is highlighting two products this year.  First, their stretch jersey knit performance polo which is soft, quick drying and styled to be worn on the course and in the office, and second, their versatile, lightweight quarter-zip which elegantly combines soft feel with moisture-wicking performance.
